Our book sharing project aims to make books and reading accessible to all people everywhere. Our Take-a-Book, Give-a-Book bookcases are unique, because they are designed by students who wanted a creative outlet to express their thoughts and imagination. Our bookcases are displayed to showcase the minds and talents of Houston's youth, as well as to give children and adults the chance to enjoy a good read wherever they may be.
Book DonationsWe are accepting book donations to be placed in our bookcases. Please contact us if you have any books you would like to donate and want to schedule a pick-up. Books can also be shipped to the following address:

Monetary DonationsWe are accepting monetary donations to help build more bookcases to be placed around the community. Please help us make books more accessible to people everywhere.

Design a BookcaseEarn a chance to design a bookcase! We are asking for submissions of drafts on how you would like for the bookcase to be designed. Your designs will be selected by the community, and winners will have their art and name displayed on the bookcase. Social media tags will also be displayed if you choose.
Each submission must include a description explaining their artwork and/or the inspiration behind it. Vertical Divider

Vy NguyenVy Nguyen, a graduating senior in high school, was selected to design a Take-a-Book, Give-a-Book bookcase. She wishes to inspire other kids to not be afraid of taking risks and hopes that the fear of "what ifs" doesn't stop anyone from chasing their dreams.
